Kara Tann, Minister of Worship
Kara started her journey at Zion in October 2008. Her background includes studying Music Education at Eastern Mennonite University, playing and teaching violin, and being active in church music leadership in her home congregation of Hopedale, IL and her college church in Harrisonburg, VA. Making music with others brings Kara great joy, especially in the context of offering worship to God and a space for others to be in relationship with God. Kara spends part of her working week directing the instrumental ensembles at Christopher Dock Mennonite High School. Outside of music (and doodling on as many instruments as she can get away with), Kara enjoys running, reading, and spending time as a newlywed with her husband Donovan.
