CALL TO PRAYER
March 7, 2010

Thank God for:

• Missionaries: Melanie Quinn serving in Botswana, the Hummel Family in Africa, Maggie Neuman in West Virginia, and Sam Rice in Haiti.
• Our journey to the cross this Lenten Season.
•  Kathleen Young, who was released from the hospital, please keep her in your prayers.

Prayer For The Week:

Almighty God,
    We give thanks for the beauty so visible in this congregation, each member, each visitor, each friend.  We are grateful for young and old, those near or far, and those who cannot be with us in this place. Lead us as we plan and work toward common goals involving our community and church family. Guide us to identify blessings of strength, wisdom, and compassion. Lord, it is wonderful to be called by You!
     Jesus, all around us the world has desperate needs. Thank you for intervening when we can only be silent. Put us where our gifts will impact the greatest need, on a path where You are leading-- wherever that may take us, within the walls of our own home or around the globe.
    We lift our joyous hearts in praise for every blessing You have bestowed upon us! Help us to allow these daily blessings to guide us, especially to others who need an invitation to know the love of Christ. Lord, it is wonderful to be called by You!              Amen
